Support Wellington Children's Hospital

Getting well takes more than medicine. Wellington Children’s Hospital is to undergo a major redevelopment and Wellington Hospital and Health Foundation is raising funds to support this redevelopment. Funds raised will assist to provide world-class medical facilities and enable an upgrade of the warm and child-friendly environment within the existing Children's Hospital. Last year the Gingerbread House Challenge raised over $10,000 in a few weeks.

The number of children who have passed through Wellington Children’s Hospital last year exceeded 32,000. Wellington Children’s Hospital is a tertiary hospital with patients coming from an area whose population is 900,000. The hospitals catchment area included Taranaki across to Hawkes Bay, Wairarapa, Manawatu, Wellington and Nelson/ Malborough in the South Island. For further information visit www.whhf.org.nz.
